I dont get it

If someone donates 1 kindey, they're hailed a hero, but I donate 5 and get arrested!?

Oh, sure. My friend donates a kidney to the City Hospital, and he's treated like some hero.

I donate five kidneys and I get arrested.

The other day at school, we had to write down our hero and what we would do if they walked into our house. I got off easy because my hero is Stephen Hawking.
